Save the Date: Conference on Health Relevant Air Quality Policies / Antwerp (Belgium), 6 March 2012

Joaquin (Joint Air Quality Initiative) is a new EU cooperation project supported by the INTERREG IV-B Northwest-Europe programme (www.nweurope.eu). The aim of the project is to support health-oriented air quality policies inEurope. To achieve this, the project will provide policy makers with the necessary evidence on the current local and/or regional situation (e.g. measurements of emerging health relevant parameters), provide them with best-practice measures that can be taken and motivate them to adapt and strengthen their current air quality policies.

This conference is a starting point for the project and its Belgian, British, Dutch and French partners. It is a unique opportunity to discover and discuss what Joaquin has to offer for you as a stakeholder, scientist or local, regional or national policy maker. At the same time, it offers the possibility to contribute to the development of the next generation of air quality policies. The programme of the conference will include contributions of EU level professionals.

More information on the project & the conference, and registration forms will be provided soon, or can be obtained via joaquin@vmm.be
